The awful truth has been revealed! There’s no denying the proof, I confess, I have engaged in singular combat with a fire-breathing dragon!

But before you pass any judgments on me, the truth is, not all dragon combat is mortal.

Yep! That’s right! In fact, it’s all fun and games to the dragons.

But then you can learn that by the cover artwork. Once you get inside the book, you will get the whole story straight from the dragons’ perspective.

Cinder the Dragon and her friends will keep you laughing right to the end. Then you’ll, “Awww.” Then you’ll have one more laugh.

Each chapter title is cleverly illustrated with a teaser picture that hints at upcoming shenanigans.

What In the Tomfoolery Is RV up to Now?

You can guess that I do not dress like this for just any odd gig. In fact, on most days, I don’t give my clothing a lot of thought at all. To me there are two easy categories of clothing, Clean and Dirty. A few subcategories within Clean are Hot Days, Cool Days, and Cold Days. It’s a pretty simple formula that serves me well and I guess my style looks equally utilitarian on any given day. That is apparently an eccentricity, which did not always sit well with my daughters when they were teens.

Most days I go along unchallenged and unconcerned about my prosaic choice of attire. It protects me from the elements and from embarrassment, and with that I am fully satisfied. As for the sword, of course I do not carry that big thing around daily. Although, if I could come up with a good reason, I’d be happy to include it. How cool would that be? Hmm, maybe it would be the perfect distancing tool.

Anyway, every once in a while, an incident arises that causes me to prepare my clothing and retinue carefully. This was one such day.
